Egypt Can - World Youth Forum

We need to talk because we can't survive living alone.We need to talk because what happens in your country does affect mine too.We need to talk because look how far did war and not talking take us? We need to talk because only by talking we can learn, understand, sympathies and support each other. 

Under the authority and support of the Egyptian President Abd El Fattah El Sisi. The WYF (World Youth Forum) launched in Sharm El Sheikh - the city of peace with more than 4,000 participants from all over the world. When I watched what's going on over there, I felt the pride of relating to the generation in this country. For many years now the images that had been exported is mainly related to terrorism, conflicts, human rights deprivation, poverty and even more. However, we do see today a clear message to the world that Egypt is ready, that the Egyptians can and what the youth are.

Egypt is ready for what? Egypt is ready to step up among nations that are respected by the world. Egypt showed the whole world tonight what the true Egypt is. When this hashtag "#ThisIsEgypt" launched on the different social media channels, the main goal was to bypass any agenda and to broadcast ourselves to the whole world with real images that do reflect the real Egypt. When the conference launched with this hashtag "#WeNeedToTalk", we are informing the whole world that Egypt is ready to take the lead in peacemaking. Egypt is ready to stand among the great nations with our heads held high. 

Egyptian can what? Egyptians can achieve whatever they want once they chase their dreams and believe in their goals. Believing that they can accomplish a lot of successes with the support needed. A lot of falls and a lot of setbacks during the past years, but Egypt always prevail. We always show the world that we can overcome any obstacle that blocks our way and get out of it stronger.

And youth are what? Youth are the future! Egyptian youth are capable of being responsible! Youth can organize such a huge International event, with all the details. They are able of taking action now to bring up the new opportunities, creating their own tomorrows by today. 

I am a proud Egyptian! I want to say that this is Egypt reaching out to the world, telling them that its ok to be different. It's ok to have different shapes and colors. It's ok to have different religions and believes. As long as we all believe in each other, in humanity, in peace; we will always be united.
