Letters of Love

"Letters of Love is a global initiative that aims at making a difference to refugee crises one smile at a time. Founded in 2015 after the grueling Syrian War & Refugee crisis caught attention of global media and created international outrage, a team of 30 volunteers across 10 countries helped actualize an idea of spreading smiles across refugee children by sending them handwritten postcards for New Years." -About Section

Founded by Pooja Pradeep, and till this moment, 16 countries are involved in this initiative with 14,324 letters sent and $4,595 raised. 

This initiative is raising awareness about the situation in Syria. And raising awareness about the life standards of the refugees leaving their life behind & struggling to save their life. Raising awareness about the refugee children in various camps trying to live their lives, trying to grow up normally. Trying to find a white spot in the middle of the darkness.

Letters of Love is collecting letters in English or Arabic languages to be shared with the refugee children in their camps on the new year's eve. Refugee children need to feel the warmth of having a support system beyond their families & friends. They need to feel the support of the strangers.

Here comes our role, we are all humans & we are here to support our lives through the thick & the thin. Write you letter & submit it along with a nice picture of yourself with a warm smile. Submissions are accepted here: http://lettersoflove.in. Then, a full team is dedicated to translate those letters to the Syrian dialect & send those handwritten letters to the children in their camps.
